The Great Gog Magog Chili-Off
On Saturday the 18th April we held the inaugural Gog Magog Chili-Off. Four talented local chefs went head-to-head to win the title of Chili Champion 2015 and a Mini Big Green Egg! Our brave voters tried all four chilis, before picking their favourite, and in doing so – entering themselves into the prize draw to win another Mini Egg!

After a couple of hours of (very pleasant) eating, drinking and basking in the sunshine, the votes were in and it was awards time. Charles – complete with Sombrero and moustache – made the announcement. The winner was… Jay Scrimshaw of Guerilla Kitchen! There were shrieks of delight from their food van as a very happy Jay came to collect the cup.
Jay rummaged about in the ballot box to find the winner of other Green Egg. David Jacques was over the moon to hear his name called out and is looking forward to cooking his own Chili on his Mini Egg very soon.
