Savill’s Gran Fondo Charity Bike Ride Returns 16th September 2018 – Enter Now!
Love cycling? Then you’ll love the Savills Gran Fondo (translated: ‘mass cycling event’) on Sunday 16th September!
Over the last few years over £10,000 has been raised for some great local charities. So, first and foremost, a big thank you to everyone who has taken part and supported the event. With a growing reputation Savills are hoping to build on that success this year. A reputation built on a choice of challenging and pretty 40/80 mile routes plus a family friendly environment, all rounded off with great food and craft beer available to purchase on the day. The date has even been moved to September 16th to replicate the epic weather of last year!
Once again, the ride will be starting and finishing from The Gog Farm Shop, with both routes taking in the beautiful South Cambridgeshire countryside, with just a hint of Essex thrown in for good measure (we needed some hills!).
Savills return as the lead sponsor and the chosen charities are Tom’s Trust & Teenage Cancer Trust, whose volunteers have provided such stalwart support at past events.
To top it all off and to keep the family together, riders under 16 can ride free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Entry is just £20 per adult with all proceeds going to charity.
