On Saturday the 18th April we held the inaugural Gog Magog Chili-Off. Four talented local chefs went head-to-head to win the title of Chili Champion 2015 and a Mini Big Green Egg! Our brave voters tried all four chilis, before picking their favourite, and in doing so – entering themselves into the prize draw to win another Mini Egg!
You’ve been asking us to tell you much more about the many things now happening at Gog Magog. This new website is just one of the tools that we’re going to use to improve the way in which we share information with you.
April’s real food bag is a quirky crispy chicken recipe created by one of our butchers Tara. We think it is a must try recipe, the chicken legs are coated in crushed up Piper’s crisps. The Real Food Bags are on the shelves now, make sure you check the coloured stickers on the bags, blue will be Anglesey Sea Salt, red is Chorizo and yellow will be the cheddar & onion.
In January we launched our Real Food Bags. The concept is simple, take all the strain out of deciding what to have for dinner, but keep it real – proper good food with a fast and easy recipe. They’ve been proving very popular and we’ll keep posting each month’s recipe on the website for you.
