Our Hand-Tied Sausage of the Month:  ‘The Three-Herb’

As part of the Gog’s Centenary celebrations, we will be running a ‘Sausage of the Month’ all year, which will include some old favourites alongside seasonal specials.

We are one of the few remaining butchers in the country that still make all our sausages by hand from only the best quality cuts of meat.  And yes, each one is still tied by hand by our in house butchery team to ensure the finest quality

What better way to start than with the ‘Three-Herb’: our legendary secret sausage meat recipe that is used in our Great Taste Award-Winning Sausage Rolls and Scotch eggs?

Handed down through generations of the Bradford family the recipe began with Colin’s Uncle and, although adjusted marginally for present day with reduced fat and salt, they stay true to tradition using good honest meat, deliberately made coarse so you can see for yourself the excellence of the contents.

Sage, parsley and thyme, plus Bramley Apple Juice from our friends at  Watergull Orchard Orchards in Wisbech, make this a winner.
